What's it about?

Join us for a 1-hour interactive workshop with Mindful Garden, designed for anyone who enjoys art and nature.

The relaxing workshop will explore how plants have been recorded, valued and sometimes forgotten over time, examining links between plants, medicine and the importance of conservation in a changing climate.

The main activity is a hands-on introduction to herbarium techniques, where participants will learn how plants are carefully preserved through a combination of art and science. Participants will also take part in a creative poetry exercise, bringing "lost" nature words back to life.

Creations made during the workshop will be invited to feature in a special window display exhibition at Quirky Quarter.
